The Pakistani delegation includes Sardar Muhammad Ayub Maryani, Haji Muhammad Yousaf Afridi, Haji Qadeerullah Wazir, Shireen Khan Afridi, and Engineer Durr Khan Achakzai.

All trade crossings between Pakistan and Afghanistan have remained closed since October 12 due to rising tensions. The closure has caused heavy financial losses for traders on both sides of the border.

Business communities have welcomed the joint committee. They hope the talks will lead to the reopening of Torkham and other crossings, helping restore bilateral trade and economic activity.
